Sweet video! I've two Chevette hatchbacks in the driveway, three XEs (one with SBD bits), T9 box with Quafe bits, a couple of 4 link rear ends with LSDs and vented discs, and a bunch of other stuff also in the garage, but illness and finances have stalled things rather - videos like this give me hope of finishing someday. On that, do you have a build thread somewhere I can check on for ideas and inspiration?

Utterly fantastic. Clearly, you guys have the Chevette HS bug. I had it back in the late seventies - there is nothing like driving a Chevette on song, in a Tarmac single venue, gaining on the guy in front . . . Please post more videos of your exploits!

Hi, sorry for the slow reply!.. Thanks, Its was our first rally so we were building in confidence stage to stage.. Yeah it was really slippery, A lot of mud and gravel had been pulled onto the road, and it took a while to clean up our semi cut slicks we were running (and it was freezing so could have done with a softer compound) ... The car is a long wheel base, Group 4, Chevette with HSR mods.. The shell is fully seam welded and turreted with a full weld in custom cages roll cage and has adjustable coil over dampers... It runs a 2.0L Vauxhall XE engine, 45mm Delorto carbs, and has a 5 linked rear Atlas axle..

You did very well, looked deceptively slippery. Whats the car spec?
