Never explained the mulch plug. Open the rear door where the bag attaches, You will see a handle in there. Pull straight out to remove the mulch plug. This must be done if you wish to use the bag. Also, you leave it in if you wish to side discharge. Only remove it when using the bag attachment.

My Hart brand 40 volt mower has a dual slot compartment. If you purchase a second battery or do as I did and purchase a matching trimmer that comes with the same battery as the mower. One battery slot is for the battery to power the mower. A second slot that is strickley for storage carries the second battery from the trimmer. If the one battery dies you simply stop where you are and switch the batteries and continue mowing. One battery does my lawn with power to spare. But I think having the ability to carry a second battery should you need it is a nice feature.

We own several cobalt tools, so we have extra battery. I have 1 bar left after I finish mowing my backyard. This mower is just perfect for me.

For seniors the steel deck while very durable is also heavy. Mowers such as Hart, Ryobi, Skil etc. are a very durable plastic that will last for years, and it makes for a much lighter easier to push mower.

This is in North Carolina, but some apples grow in the Philippines specifically in Davao but not many.

Yes, so far, we haven't seen the bear every time we are there, but i pay attention cause I know the bear is in the area.
