At Jim Henson’s funeral, puppeteer Caroll Spinney showed up as Big Bird, singing It’s Not Easy Being Green. Tom Kenny did a similar thing at Stephen Hillenburg’s memorial service singing Best Day Ever

a couple years ago i watched the scene in the lost episode where they bury spongebobs pants & it actually made me cry :’( its a hell of a lot sadder now that hes gone :( he was cremated & his ashes were spread in the ocean. the super bowl shouldve played sweet victory at the halftime show too :(
