This is the best of the three locations. It's mostly centralized in the map, has the least amount of glitches and it's usually peaceful. A breathtaking view as well made better by how open the surroundings are. But I feel like this is such a messy DLC. Like how much storage and displays do we really need? The houses are gigantic and I never use 95% of the objects in them. Most cities in Skyrim have everything you could need already in some form and I'm usually on the go anyway, so I've been opting for just the first stage. A cute little cottage that I can decorate myself a lot easier with decent storage.

the only person I'm pretty sure will be there no matter what is gregor, the dude you can see wandering around the yard at the beginning of the video, because he's the housecarl assigned to you after becoming thane of the pale, which I'm preeeetty sure is a prerequisite to be able to buy the land in the first place. other people are the carriage driver and the bard, which you can simply choose to not have around, and lydia cause I had her as a follower. you can move your family here but male children will dislike the location due to the cold (plus certain spouses, like aela, will bitch about it nonstop). lakeview manor is cool but you sorta have to come to terms with the fact that it's near a bandit camp and that you'll have a giant and a necromancer just wandering around your property, which is why I prefer heljarchen (but hey! if you want a tour of lakeview I can do it, I built all of the manors for funsies lol)

@@Sderapatores Certe stronzaggini e porcate che combinano i personaggi, sopratutto Cox e Todd (lo stereotipo del "sono bisessuale e quindi sono un perverso che vuole scopare tutto e tutti!") possono essere meno divertenti se si è avuto a che fare con individui simili nella vita reale. Personalmente una parte che non mi ha divertito affatto e mi ha fatto pensare "Oh ma basta, sei uno stronzo!" è quella puntata in cui Cox continua a tormentare Turk dicendogli che si comporta "da bianco" per via delle cose dice/fa/gli piacciono. Cioè, so che esiste lo shock humor, ma poi c'è il semplice concetto che un personaggio supra il limite e smette di essere buffo, special mondo quando fa lo stronzo e se la passa liscia. Poi ci sono i tipici umorismi omofobi da fine anni '90-inizio 2000 in cui un personaggio viene preso per il culo per non essere mascolino e quel maltrattamento viene mostrato come accettabile/giustificato. Io non odio Scrubs, eh, io c'ho molta nostalgia per esso, ma rivedendolo queste cose invecchiate male fanno perdere qualche punto.

the rooms get unlocked as you progress with the building (you have to build the foyer, which unlocks the great hall, which unlocks the side rooms, etc) but I don't know if it's different with mods

@@xyex It’s the best house imo in terms of location, its right in the center of the map so walking/riding to and from multiple holds for trade isnt so far and long.

@@John-115 plus, Falkreath’s is near wolf spawn points, a goddamn necromancer ritual spot, and a bandit headquarter. I wouldn’t want my family there, Morthal’s is ok but I personally like Dawnstar’s more because it’s near Whiterun
