Sometime in the early 90s in Norwalk, CA, in a store called "Music Plus" on Rosecrans Ave, a funny-looking kid purchased his first-ever "Compact Disk", which was all the rage among his friends. The CD turned out to be a "Maxi-Single" (5 SONGS!!!!) of a band named "Shamen", off the album "Boss Drum". I had worked all summer for this. This wasn't like hitting OK on some delivery app. This mattered greatly to a 12-year old. Eight dollars AND 99 cents was a lot of money to just give away. Ever since then, I've been listening to it, and I still bring it up constantly. There are less and less people who care about these things anymore, but every so often I run into someone who really dug McKenna, and Shamen. I've been pondering this song, and all the messages it contains, ever since! Listen in around @7:35
