I have a Fluance RT85. Do I need to set the anti-skate to zero if just verifying / making fine adjustments to the tracking force with the neotech scale? Or do I just need to set the anti-skate to zero during initial setup, when balancing the tonearm and making the large adjustments on the counter weight to set the tracking force?

I bought one of these about a year ago and i was very happy with it but unfortunately even though it was only used to go back and forth to work it only lasted 10 months then the zips started to come apart and the partition fabric started to tear from the seems . I was considering replacing it with another but the durability is holding me back

Hey man ! Sorry if this is a dumb question but do you still need to balance the tonearm before doing this or does this bypass that operation completely ? You just measure the tracking force and you're good to go ?

You also need to set the side force/bias compensation which ideally should be two thirds of the tracking weight although equal to the tracking weight is good enough and make sure the turntable is perfectly level.

I have a brand new laptop thi sbrandnew dvd/cd rom burner/reader and I just opened a new DVD movie out of the plastic Idid the installation neither thepower DVD app or vlc works to play the movie in what am I doing wrong? I bought the machine and the movie within my own country so there should not be a region issue

Only 3 mm less in diameter, then Brute version. 14 mm for this Pitbull 16,8 mm for Brute. Both of are pretty good.

Just picked up a 1200 MK2 refurbished by a local shop. I agree 100% they are great and the sound with a decent cartridge is excellent. Built like a tank also.

The slow strobe is actually an SOS signal. Quite a few flashlights have this now.

@@illyam689You can absolutely scratch with them but if you are a scratch dj the white ortofon scratch cartridges are better because they take a bit of the high’s out of your record.

I'm not a "power user." My use case will be two condenser mics at same time, or electric guitar in. Do you think this interface with the (complicated looking) total mix software would be overkill compared to e.g. SSL2?
