The only problem I had following you instructions was my remote required a 4th step. After you press the button three times as required by the color of your learn button , I had to exit the programming mode by pressing any button other than the one I was going to use to open the garage door. After that step you then press the learn button and follow your instruction.

I appreicate the video, next time you might want to give a little more input like how long it takes to fill up, how many times you've used it,etc. No offense at all it was just missing a couple details that would be handy in a review. I mainly was looking to see how long it took to fill up a flat tire.

You can open the normal buck one handed, with a little bit of practice... I can... (wich comes pretty handy, since we aren't allowed to carry one handed fixed knives of any kind here in germany... )

Haha thanks Stephen. You'll love the auto. The other auto knives I have want to fly out of your hand when you hit the button, but the 110 is so weighty that it doesn't even want to move!

The idea is nice, but I’d rather have 4 regular 110’s than 1 auto 110. When is having the one button auto open ever going to be worth the heavily higher price tag?
@random-rob
@random-rob Жыл бұрын
Hey Seth, thanks for watching. This makes sense esp because you need 2 hands to close it anyway.
@sethmorgan8258
@sethmorgan8258 Жыл бұрын
@@random-rob I mean the important thing is opening it. If u in a situation that u have only one hand in an emergency I don’t think u will be too worried about closing the knife. However, I view a pocket knife as a tool to use for non emergencies. If an emergency arrives that’s what my gun is for, or my small one handed knife I will be carrying too. I always have at least two knives on me. Rn I carry a 110 slim and a CRKT Drifter. Actually I also currently carry a Victorinox classic SD 7 and a Buck 055.
@random-rob
@random-rob Жыл бұрын
@@sethmorgan8258 True, but in most situations, non-emergency, I'm already holding what i want to cut with my left hand.. a package that was just delivered, a pack of hot dogs, etc.. where i'd have to put whatever it is down first, open the knife, then pick things back up again :) I usually only carry one knife, so for me it's important i can at least open it with one hand even if i have to close it w/ 2 hands later. That drifter looks cool!
@sethmorgan8258
@sethmorgan8258 Жыл бұрын
@@random-rob the drifter is nice. It would be the perfect knife if it were a little longer. But there is no such thing as a perfect knife. There is always something one knife needs and doesn’t have. That’s why I carry two knives at least. A big use knife for major tasks and a smaller one for everyday tasks. I tried just carrying one knife at a time and I just kept running into a “man I wish I had my XXX knife today” type thing so I just started carrying two. I haven’t come I to a situation yet where one of the two knives wasn’t appropriate for a task.

I received them today and the one I tried did not pair. The LED on the Craftsman motor was solid and then blinked a few times as I held the remote button down. I sent a message to the Amazon seller.

@@random-rob No, I haven’t had a chance. This is for a home I’m in the process of purchasing. I’m hoping the door was locked electronically and that is why it didn’t pair. I found a Craftsman troubleshooting repair video that mentioned it wouldn’t pair if the door was locked.

Hey, thanks for watching - You can literally have 4 regular 110s or 1 auto, but it is cheaper than some other popular autos. I'm going to do a benchmade auto review next most likely.
