What a composition! What and interpreter! The mastery is undeniable, unquestionable. His brain totally connected to his fingers; perfectly controlled by his arms. So closely filmed that one can not only hear his brilliant interpretation, but one can see the physical interaction as well. And only the way Arrau can put it together and deliver it.

Come on Paulo! Not true! More colorful beautiful piano sound than Arrau=Wilhelm Kempff Emil Gilels Artur Rubinstein Radu Lupu Vladimir Ashkenazy! More powerful louder than Arrau=Mikhail Pletnev! The second Loudest was Lazar Berman!! More genius than Arrau=Sviatoslav Richter Solomon Cutner Grigory Sokolov Maurizio Pollini Alexei Lubimov Stanislav Igolinski! Arrau not had the best piano sound! Arrau not the best genius! Arrau not the most powerful! Arrau can not be the greatest!!

Recuerdo haber subido esta joya hace ya 10 años. Al parecer fue todo un acierto porque no lo veo en ningún otro lado . Me la alegra mucho que disfruten del maestro Arrau.

Beethoven >> Carl Czérny >> Franz Liszt >>Martin Krauze >> Claudio Arrau lastima que se estanco en claudio arrau, no pq el quisiera. ya que a su mejor alumno su obra maestra de discipulo lo mato la gestamo cuando este alumno tenia 24años, fue colgado en un teatro frente a todos los musicos.

Desde niña se que es Cbileno .Tuve un gran maestro ,que en sus primeros años trajeron del concervatoriode Leipzin Alemania y y tambien se fue 12 años a alemania ,tuve dl privilegio que fuera mi maestro aqui en la Peninsula de Yucatan MEXICO

The piano has a sort of harp-like sound. The colors he makes are majestic and serene. Easily the best interpretation of this wonderful piece.
