Try another amplifier in its place. Other option would be to use a milti meter and test for voltage through the RCA. Just search on here for Testing RCA voltage

I'd like to but that would require me to purchase more items and the way older RF has been selling lately I stopped buying. If I happen to come across what I believe to be a nice or "rare" item I'd pick it up and make a video. I don't think I've purchased a RF item in almost a year. My hearts just not in it anymore.

I recommend searching for videos on here and asking questions on any of the RF Facebook groups or sub rebuilder groups. The surrounds can be had by searching eBay for 12" XLC surrounds. This is NOT by any means a tutorial but first thing you want to do is very carefully remove the cork gaskets around the subs. Then you need to remove all the old , possibly gummy, foam from the baskets AND the cone. Some people carefully remove the dust cap and shim the voice coil so the surround sits correctly.. I have redone subs without removing the dust caps and had no issues. I personally have redone 8's, 10's 12's, and 15's and altogether total probably 32 subs. Which version of the 250.1? If it's the old style from the late 90's early 2000's it doesn't take a bass knob. The phone jack looking port is for a PSD-1 which is a visual display for clipping and over heating.

@@kaknballz It says remote punch bass. I have the Rockford Fosgate Power 250m, I think it's from 2002.

@@raulmarroquin3654 I don't typically collect those newer amplifiers. I have heard mixed reviews as to if connecting the bass knob actually makes a difference or not. Most of those amplifiers were sold used without bass knobs so I'm not sure anyone really noticed. Sorry I'm not of more help.

I know some people are 3D printing the two different style DSM pieces and the @ series but I haven't heard from or seen any available for a while. I installed a Powermaster one wire alternator. If my memory serves me correctly I believe there was wiring for the start/crank in the Painless harness. I honestly made the video then kind of gave up due to numerous problems with the car. I'm pretty sure the instructions are on the Painless web site as to what wires go where. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Kind of. The end cpas came in gray, gold, and black. Some amps like the 200.2 had the gray end caps. the 250.1 had gold end caps. I believe some amps came with gold or gray. Eventually they had a 225.2 in gray and a 225.2 in black and grind. Same amp different colors.

I am not familiar with the Audicontrol stuff so I can not say. I actually had to look up the LC2i to find out what it even is.

Back in the day when I had one installed running a 200ix yes it did help a bit with my headlights dimming. Now days I wouldn't use one. If I ever get around to building a system, I had planned on installing but not hooking up multiple capacitors for "show" but using modern day ways to feed power to my amps.

In my case my late brother used a stock 90's mustang fuel pump and plug. To the best of my memory it had a Power and ground. So I ran the wires from the painless kit and connected them to the fuel pump plug leads. Somewhere in there is also the safety shut off for the fuel pump. "inertia safety switch" I think is what they call it? Unfortunately after I uploaded this video I haven't really touched the car. It now sits buried under a bunch of broken down cardboard boxes in the same state it was four years ago.

Personal preference honestly. The vehicle, amplifier or no amplifier, location of the speakers in correlation to your ears. Seems the most complaints is the harshness of the tweeters and the tweeters blow easily. My experience is they sound pretty good but do not over power them.
