Looks like back when ( ? ) you did this video, they had servo cut-outs on the underside of the wing for optional flaps. The currently available kit does not have those servo cut-outs, although the control-horn indents are still there.

I have watched and followed every video on binding these planes. Nothing works for me. I have a RM Pocket running EdgeTX with the nano 4 in 1 module, I have the Eachine Spitfire V2 400mm. I have set up the model via wizard, manually. V761 on my external 4 in 1 is V1.3.3.7 AETR. It simply will not bind. I select bind and it will beep once, maybe twice then stop and not bind. The transmitter it came with still works fine, it's just terrible. Any advice?

Depends on your flying style. If you like flying full throttle the whole time, then 3-4 minutes. If you like slow-and-low flybys, nonpowered glides, shallow turns, and gentle climbs, about 10 minutes.

@PropsWheels do you still have that plan or did you get rid of it ? This will be my first plane my daughter's buying it for me for Christmas but some of the reviews are very scary about how it doesn't fly good how it breaks so easily got me a little nervous

Never buy any vehicle sight unseen and without a LOCAL dealer to handle all issues with parts and/or registration and labor costs. Overseas companies usually just DO NOT CARE to rectify a damn thing concerning your expensive purchase. They will ignore you, knowing that they already have your money and that you more than likely have no recourse or the resources to do anything about it. I would NEVER make this kind of purchase. It's a 50/50 crap shot.

I’ve always had really good luck with getting the original nimhs to work perfectly fine. While the battery was only at .6 volts, that’s just because nimhs self discharge when they sit. I typically put a pack on a .1 amp forming charge for about 16 hours as it allows all the cells to charge evenly and slowly to reactivate the battery chemistry. There’s just something about getting one of these old birds in the air on their original everything, as if it was back in the day. I’ve got a whole fleet of older out of production kits and rtfs. They just don’t make em like they used to. I just purchased this very same plane from eBay new in box. Can’t wait as it’s such a cute little plane with its dihedral and the non scale wire landing gear 😂

Thanks for video, I have the same plane and a TX16S when I get to the internal RF mode there is no KN listed? Is there an alternative? I have an XK 450 listed but I think that’s for a car? Any help would be appreciated

I think the protocol is the same in both FCC and LBT (European) versions. The only difference should be the radio's power output (lower in the LBT version). In any case, I read that you can flash your RadioMaster to FCC firmware if you desire, although illegal.

@@PropsWheels I read that on the sellers page: The 4in1 LBT version (Europe) is limited to the LBT-compatible protocols FrSKY X/X2 LBT, HoTT LBT and DSMX in the factory settings . But thank you for the flashing hint. (how you find out the V761 Protokoll ?? Is that documentated somwhere ? great find !!)

Good contents 👍 . !! XK RTF for the Win. Hobby Grade, avail parts @ fair prices with one of the one of best tx out there. Its proggramable to Futaba protocol. Their pod & booms are bulletproof & would not consider their scale models to beginners, lots more fragile to impact / crashes.

Hello. If you definitely want to buy one of these, go with the Z53. However, I would recommend neither, when there are much better 2ch airplanes, like QF-002 Baby and C-17 Transport Airplane. If I were you, I would get one of those. Forward to 8:22 in this video, and you will see the links to these two highly recommended airplanes. Good luck!

Thank you for your presentation, I found the problems of the remote and receiver, it does not respond to the control sticks, may be a toy grade remote control!, so I decide not to take off before changing the transmitter and receiver include esc. Actually, the size of the plane is quite compact but it needs to modify the space of elevator and rudder rods.

If you have an OpenTX transmitter, like a RadioMaster or Jumper, you could bind this plane to it. This may at least resolve the "toy-grade controller" aspect of your problem.

@@PropsWheels Thanks. Now I remove receiver board (includes built -in servos) and ESC from its body waiting for RC grade replacement parts since I can not rely on 6 G Gyro. I want to fly without restriction of the program board.

The replacement project is on process, the 2 grams micro servos for elevator and rudder shall be arrived soon. My plan is to use the original esc (changing a connector plug to receiver to futaba/jr plug-modify) if it fails, the new esc shall be used, all replacement items shall be the same weight or close to the original item, then, check and check the cg before flight. The radio shall be radio master Pocket elrs with 2 or 4 grams Rx-PWM (futaba/jr plug).

@@PropsWheels Hi, I finished modifying the plane, all electric parts are removed except servos on the wing. I use hobbywing 20A, 1510 2200KV, 2 digital servos for rudder and elevator, modify plug to futaba/jr /pwm for aileron wire with elrs rx, modify back compartment for installing of servos, a 4 grams elrs Rx in the back cabin, modify cowling for 1510 BL motor, modify propeller hole for spinner. The total weight for take off is 200 grams!!!! Small plane but big job!!!! Now waiting for a test flight (first fight). Tx is radiomaster Pocket, the size close to a toy grade Tx.
