Absolutely not. No. Never. Seriously. This is a very advanced airplane. Hard to see. Difficult to launch and land.

So Stupid the Eflite didnt set this plane up with wireless connectors at the wing connection. Even FMS 1400mm Trojan breaks down easier than that plane.

Agreed. I've spoken with Jason and others at Horizon. They said it would add $50 to the cost of the airplane and they think people would not buy it at that price. I disagree. This is such a great model, except for the wing connectors.

@@insurancemann1 Yes i know cost is always a huge factor but being this is a Giant Plane that will absolutely require breaking down for transporting i feel this point shoulda been Priority One before anything else.

Hello. I have a Panasonic intelligent 90x. I am worried about the difference in zoom, I believe this is 20x? Have any thoughts or advice? It seems you can't find a higher zoom with these new cameras

It looks like the crash had nothing to do with the Wind. A little bit of pilot error

we stated it was pilot error. However, the pilot could not hear the motor due to the howling winds and this contributed to the problem but thanks for pointing out the wind had nothing to do with it. Perhaps you were there?

@@insurancemann1 Coming in for a landing either keep the nose down or put in a bit of power. If you value your model you learn what minimum power it needs to fly, this is especially important if flying in conditions where actual air speed is hard to judge. To little air speed flying down wind has been the demise of countless large models ha ha.

Very cheerful pilot, great attitude, crap luck. I’m with you on the lack of engine sound due to the wind. Would it have been possible to come nearer to your position before committing to a landing?

Thanks David. We've crashed so many times we just had to realize it's part of the hobby and deal with it. I used to get so MAD! And it was so windy he couldn't really control exactly where touchdown would have been.

I have a G50 and it looks like the G70 shoots the same video just has a few updates to interface and viewfinder/screen. These things basically have the same size sensor as a cellphone but the quality of the images is no even close. If camcorder makers want keep selling them they need step up their processing game. Just my 2cents

Why takeoff if your shit isnt setup properly? But more than that, learn to 'feel' the plane, if you have to keep feeding in up elevator, your getting slower..

Thanks for the comment John. You're right you would think with all our experience we would know better but Alex was just nervous, extremely nervous and made a mistake. I guess we're all human from time to time.

I came in deadstick with my B-25J due to the ESCs not being calibrated correctly. No power below 50%. I was lucky.

Yes, it's not perfect. I had a couple of others before this and for me this is the best all around option. None are perfect that's for sure.

It was great flying. But, I am really sorry for your loss. Why didn't you use reverse thrust to stop it? Did you try to touch and go?
