my muscles are very weak and i am a mouth breather since my birth now at my 20's , i could only complete 1st exercise that too with lots of efforts, i couldnt swallow in 2nd exercise cant even feel that muscle.

"Will be removed GENTLY" *proceeds to YANK it tf out* Yeah this shit is NOT fun, I have VERY thin nostrils and she practically had to SHOVE it into my nose to get it to go in because the numbing gel didn't do shit and I almost gagged when I had it done to me. Every single time you swallow it shifts and slams into your uvula. I have a constricting throat as well, very thin and doesn't shift well in response (one symptom I have from my hiatal hernia is difficulty swallowing and trouble with eating/drinking fast) there was NO way I could do "rapid fire swallowing" back to back like she was asking. I kept swallowing to keep from gagging and teared up, I was panic-breathing too. At the end, the assistant tugged it right out and it created a searing hot burning pain inside of my nose and throat. I had to ice my nose and gargle ice water when I got home. It hurt so unbelievably bad because I could feel the tube shifting in my neck when I would swallow. I'm also emetophobic so this test was naturally horrific, but after doing this test I'm really dreading the 24-hour PH test.

Just had mine done Tuesday, worst medical procedure ever, just torture, numbing stuff did nothing, test took about an hour, once tube was down was ok just very uncomfortable, this girl must of been sedated cause mine was not like that, was like a covid test 50 times worse, my throat is still sore and have a cough two days later, had to take off work, prayers to anyone getting this done, it is not fun at all , but I guess we have to be thankful they have these tests, will not be getting this done again

I have Ankylosing Spondylitis, the pain exist since 1998 but the medical diagnose was only in 2002 .. survive my NS in 3 SIR , did starlight exercise Taiwan ( Sispec) and even atec in Aussie wallaby , was guessing left right centre mri spine etc… then one dr asked me to take a blood test .. then we discovered the culprit. Now 43 years old .. flare lately start to happen again medication i take is stil NSAID bcus biological cost a bomb and insurance dont cover 😅 but overal ive been living quite normal hopefully itll remain that way .

What if one's pelvic floor muscles are strong enough, but a bit too tight? Wouldn't reverse kegels to relax the muscles be safer than contracting the muscles? Thanks
