Thanks for your question about our mulchers! Yes, our mulchers can handle soft rushes, but for optimal results, we recommend mixing it with wood to prevent blockages. In terms of the blades, we recommend replacing them rather than resharpening them. Replacement blades can be purchased on our website. You can simply replace them when you feel they are getting dull!

Great question! While our oil is designed to last for up to 25 hours of continuous use, it's still recommended to change it annually, even if you haven't reached that usage limit. This is because over time, the oil can degrade due to factors like heat, oxidation, and contamination. Regular oil changes help ensure optimal performance and longevity of your wood chipper.

Thanks for commenting! In terms of the blades, we actually use forged steel blades in all our wood chippers for their strength and durability, plus, they're also reversible to extend their life.

Great question! Yes, the Upper Discharge Chute would essentially convert the FM4DDE-MUL into an FM4DDE. It would make it better at chipping wood, creating larger wood chips. You can still use it for greenery, but for optimal results, we recommend mixing it with wood in an 80/20 ratio (80& wood, 20% greenery).

@@federalnoise Useable but ,not for thick stuff or any logs with twisted grain it will just stall , remember theses things are dangerous cuck an old rug over the log when splitting they can fly apart and hit you ,and i mean hit , I wish I had bought a 15 ton
