How do you manage to keep your yarn at the beautiful tension. I enjoy doing this knitting however my tension is not as smooth as yours. Please share your secret, I have tried holding the base as you. I’m not successful.

Thank you so much for this video and the diagrams make it so easy! I have tried to do a star pattern before and gave up. This one is already taking shape nicely! When I finish I will indeed tag you in my IG! I think this might end up to be my favorite scarf ☺️

Can this pattern be done with Worsted weight 4 On 40 per loom For adults?
@secretsquirrel730010 күн бұрын
I have the Boye Loom and love it. The shape of the pegs make it less easy for my loops to accidentally slip off. Its sort of like going over the end of a crochet hook. I point my tool upwards, so I don't have the issue you do with it catching. The pegs are removable, so I dont have to worry about them beeaking off like with some looms. Even if one would break, I can replace the peg rather than trying to glue it together or having to replace the entire loom. I would never buy a loom without removable pegs, or a loom with very small heads on the pegs. I'm looking for an S/infinity loom now, and I wish Boye made one.

Great pattern! Wonderful instructions. Just wondering if you want a wider scarf what is the ratio of pegs? does it need to be odd number? Thank you for sharing!

If you notice she is using her thumb so the yarn doesnt come off. Michaels looms dont hold your yarn on the peg. It easily come off so i switched to a kk rectangular loom. Michael's looms were okay when i was just learning but 20+ years i dont like them anymore.Get a loom that is less struggle for you and you will keep looming many years down the road. Im going to try this scarf.

This is a very confusing video the written stuff doesn't go with video stuff and what is said too. You don't video after you wrap to see how many yarns are suppose to be on any given peg. Sometime you end up with 4 yarn and sometimes 3. Think I'm going g to pass and go find another video. Sorry I have liked all your videos up until this one. Not enjoyable. Good luck every one

What gauge is your kq loom using a #5 charisma
@catherineportland50319 күн бұрын
Is it 3/4 loom or. Knit quick wasn't completely the gauge it says. Can you measure it please. Thanks. Most beginners don't even know the brand knit quick. Michael's carried it

I tried a premier serenity bulky #5. Too thin you definitely need a #6 even a small 6. Going to Frog and find a small #6. Thank you for your videos. Saw another pattern I want to do. ❤❤❤❤❤❤ not A thick #6 as she stated above hometown, bernat are a no.

Hello MsYarn, I wanted to make this blanket but the RedHeart Grande yarn has been discontinued. I’ve tried making it with baby blanket yarn, but it doesn’t come out right. I don’t know what to use instead. Do you have any ideas?
@catherineportland50320 күн бұрын
Thanks Katherine. I made it with bernat blanket yarn and it was beautiful. Thank you for your instructions. Had a hard time at first but when I got the repeat pattern it went fast.

I'm watching this 11/20/24...so 1 year after your tutorial posted....never underestimate your reach. I picked up a set of rectangular looms at a church resale shop...I'd been using round looms. My first scarf attempt was a dis-aster...bummer. 🙁Not all tutorials are created equal....yours is exemplary 🤗. Pretty much addressed all the issues I had. I have some variegated yarn I might try so no changing of colors. You used bulky yarn...which turned out great...is it necessary to use 2 strands of 4 together? That would be super bulky 🤔 I guess I'll find out. Thanks for the great tutorial 🤗

This doesn't add yarn to your working yarn. It just tightens it.what a waste of working yarn. I have almost 2 feet. I wish some one would find another way. I do like cindwood vixeo. Its easier to do. But thank you Katherine

Got my master zippy years ago and never used it. The accessories were still in plastic. I am going to try this. I want to use 3 colors red white and blue.

Put more videos out to keep people interested. Looming isn't that popular but it always comes back. I loomed over 20 years ago. The looms in stores aren't really there. Cindwood are my go to if I need more which 20+ years of collecting Iooms, don't need.

Katherine. What gauge is this loom. Is it a 3/4 or 5/8

Figure 8 stitch is your cast on. I love your videos but haven't done this yet. Please add at the beginning list weight and name of yarn. Thank you.

That's not redheads because it looks like a #6weight which I don't think redheads has.

Hi, I’m just wondering if I could just use a long loom ? I unfortunately don’t have zippy looms. The pegs aren’t as chunky though, would that matter ?

Can someone please tell me what yarn to get so that my babies blanket looks like this? Every time I make a blanket on my zippy it’s so loose and it looks like it wouldn’t keep anyone warm. Is that because my yarn is too small?
