It would be interesting to see a study on the different types of imperfections, their sizes, orientations and their relative effects on the buckling loads

In vertical storage tanks, most top shell plates due to cone roof loads it buckles from flatness across width. Can you help me to find how much buckling is acceptable along widths as per api 650.
