Go straight to proving a god! Do NOT argue! Do not debate! Do not rant! Do not quote man-krap from man-written books! Faith ! = A feeble word used by frauds when those making 'claims' canNOT Prove their claims! eg belief in the doctrines of a religion, based on spiritual conviction rather than proof.; These claims are Child Abuse!! Fake promises of imaginary heavens is Child Abuse! Threats of fake hells is Child Abuse and Elderly Abuse!! faith is for UN-educated Dolts!

Some note I made from our (OPC) leadership class for Elders/Deacons. Leaders are responsible to lead on behalf of God under His Word. Leaders are to be ministerial (servants) and declarative (preach the Word) not magisterial (Kings are served) and legislative (law makers). Leadership is shepherding which is knowing and loving the flock as a servant to the people God has entrusted you with. Visits with the people is an opportunity to listen and learn their spiritual and physical needs. Elders are to be pastoral shepherds watching over the flock. Watching for dangers such as doctrinal errors a person may have and never failing to teach the whole counsel of God. So much more can be said and this video certainly touches on some of that stuff.

A "YES" vote would allow common sense restrictions on abortion. Voting "NO" on the proposed amendment will keep abortion protected in the state constitution. It seems that the video/speaker is pro-life, but is confused on what voting yes means.

You have restated what the pro-life are saying. They ONLY want "common sense" restrictions and that is evil. Abortion is murder and therefore must be treated as such. The amendment fails to treat a child in the womb as a child. We would never say we want common sense restrictions on rape or child abuse. The pro-life agenda with this amendment also fails God's standard and therefore must be rejected. Therefore a no vote means, "No this is unjust go back and protect them." Fight for the life of the unborn like you were fighting for your own. Don't except what the court says. Instead do what God says.

A vote "no" IS a vote for abortion.

A yes vote is to codify that “life liberty and the pursuit of happiness” does not apply to preborn children and will make some abortion legal for the rest of our lives. The VTB is the wrong shoot a real problem. There are just answers to this wickedness. But the wisdom that only comes from God is needed. Deeper thinking than the usual conservative thinking is needed.

@@crosspointbaptistchurch1352 First of all...the second half of your response makes no sense at all. Secondly, what is your game plan to abolish abortion entirely...how are you going to make this happen?
@crosspointbaptistchurch1352

The first part of my statement refers to the 2019 KS SC case. They ruled in a way that says “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness” is not applied to the preborn. So not fighting that and making this amendment is essentially to say the court is right and now let’s make a statement in our constitution which treats them as less than life. That’s horrible. 2nd the Kansas Abortion Ban will be introduced next session. It will be a long and hard fight but it will treat the preborn as a child. The courts will have to be challenged. If things go right there will be only 1 judge left on the court that voted with the majority in 2019.

@@crosspointbaptistchurch1352 You do realize that to vote "no" on the amendment throws your hat in with the Kansans for Constitutional Freedom, right? Kansans for Constitutional Freedom is a pro-abortion group that wants no limits on abortion. You are endorsing abortion by telling people to vote "no". Unbelievable!

@@backrhodeskansas We are not to vote on the basis of how secular people are voting or what their motives are for voting. I will vote a loud no and get as many people to follow has possible. The Vote yes crowd will use fear and worldly thinking and I will use Scripture. They will say “this will not abolish ab0rtion” as a way of getting progressives to vote for it. I will use scripture like “How long will you judge unjustly and show partiality to the wicked? Selah Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute. Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.”” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭82:2-4‬. If you vote for it you will still be voting with ungodly people who use worldly means to accomplish a goal that they won’t use the Bible to support because they are more worried about building a coalition for it than they care what God actually thinks.

Please educate yourselves. Value them both opens the door for a ban on abortion in the future. Without it there's really no pathway to banning it. Why would you want to align yourselves with the radical pro abortion crowd? That's who you're voting with if you vote no.

Would we want an amendment in the Constitution that says, "because we value both adults and children, we have the right to make common sense limits, as to when, where, and how adults can sexually molest children if they want"? God forbid. AMBA

Very good sermon! Pastor Josh speaks strictly the truth from Gods word. It is so cut and dry. No manipulation, no politics envolved - render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and unto God the things that are God's" are the extent of politics , everything at cross point baptist church is about what does God want, what does God say. Not what do we want. The body of Christ has never really needed a disco ball and flashy lights. It simply needs a Godly man to preach the truth straight from the Bible and a body of Gods chosen people wise and willing enough to receive it and whatever it entails!What we all should want is to have extreme gratitude for grace and salvation through Christ and to ask ourselves what is Gods word, what does he want for his Church. I have listened to many sermons of Pastor Josh and tons of sermons from others. Pastor Josh never sways from simply preaching the gospel straight from the Bible- love it or hate it, he doesn’t care because if we have a problem with his sermon we truly have greater issues because they are indeed in actuality problems with our creator . Fifty years on planet earth have taught me that to many preachers participate in a “ walk on eggshells” style of sermons afraid to offend members of their own congregation. I know it is addressed in the Bible for reasons such as this that we should not be afraid of what man thinks but what God thinks. He is the one who can destroy the body and the soul and he is the one who provides grace and we need to keep that in mind when we decide we want a pastor that caters to us and not a pastor that preaches from Gods perfect word. These are the opinions of Billy from Coffeyville and may not be the views of pastor Josh or any other members of crosspoint Baptist Church 😉🙏 God bless all the members of Crosspoint and the most excellent pastor Josh Eaton!

Praise God from Whom all blessings flow! "For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; he is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the peoples are worthless idols, but the LORD made the heavens. Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and beauty are in his sanctuary." Psalms 96:4-6 We are so grateful He has provided such devoted, theologically sound leadership in such a remote area of this vast country. ❤❤❤

Very good sermon pastor Josh!! It’s trucker Billy here. Carl Lentz sickened me with his pandering to joy blowhard regarding his stance on abortion. He is of and for the world as it is. Oprah is so wicked on her “many paths to God “ rhetoric. Maybe many paths to little “g” God. You could have probably touched on pastor Norman Vincent peal”s power of positive thinking version of gospel cousin to or a rebranding of the law of attraction. I prayed for spiritual food today while I was out in California today and A text hits my phone from Mary Linking me to this sermon👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🙏🙏🙏🙏

Sharp disagreements can spark a strong desire to find the definite truth on one’s belief and if we are humble we can be just as excited about being proved ignorant on a belief as we will certainly be if we can prove ourselves to be accurate on what we believe. Can’t wait to see the new slogan on a bumper sticker.😉
