I’m in NW Arkansas. It snows a little here. I ride year round as much as the weather will allow me. When it snows, I’ll drive my truck for a few days, but as soon as the roads are clear in a week or so, I ride again. I use heated gear in the winter.

Not as often as most people claim. I see more roadkill than live animals on the road. It's not like they are out there living on the roads. I see the most on my street, mostly neighbors' pets, and we have some regular deer that stay in my woods and will be grazing a few feet from the road when I go by.

@@DailyHarleyRider its just so much time on the road, i am happy i am retired i ride my street glide, about maybe 100 miles a week depending on the weather . be carful and look out for them 4 wheelers because 99.998 % of them are talking or worst texting i can ride up next to them and they never look over at me. it pisses me off BE carful my friend.

I'm so tired of people arguing the difference between filtering and splitting. You're riding between cars. Semantics. You're first sentence states exactly what I stated, there is no law addressing it, therefore it's not illegal. Laws are written to ban certain items, activities and so on. When a new law is written to give permission for something, its main purpose is to overturn a previously written law which banned that item/activity. You're not the first person who has brought up the "stay in single lane" law. That law is addressing people who drive with two wheels on either side of the line. It has absolutely nothing to do with motorcycles and has been brought up by people reaching for something, anything to prove their idea of lane splitting should be illegal. As the current laws in Arkansas stand, lane splitting of itself is not illegal. But it is definitely up to any law enforcement officer to interpret other laws to address something they deem dangerous. Most officers will give you a "reckless driving" citation for splitting between moving vehicles. And most, I'm sure there is the exception, but most officers don't care about splitting between vehicles stopped at a red light. I personally have gone by countless local police and county sheriffs while splitting at red lights and have never been pulled over for it.

Im using a wired mic clipped to the bottom of my jacket, on the back. So you can hear the exhaust and it gets some wind protection. I dont usually go to any rally's, too commercial these days, and not enough old school shenanigans.

Not sure what you mean by OAT. And yes, the camera is on my helmet. Its chin mounted.

Ah, outside temp. It fluctuates crazy here in NW Arkansas. When I ride to work, its anywhere from 20's to 40's this time of year, and in the 50's to 60's when I ride home. If you have a full face helmet, look up chin mounts, they make a specific mount for almost any helmet, which can hold most action cameras.

Im not sure replacing an LED light with an LED light will make much of a difference. Honestly this bike lights up the road just fine. Probably one of the best lights on any of my old or current bikes, and its the stock light.

The Road Glide ST is surprisingly nimble for its size. It takes corners much better than my Breakout. Ive come to learn the Breakout is just a pretty, around town bike and the Road Glide is the fun bike.

Two, "daily bike" and "road trip bike". But I tend to ride the road trip bike more in the winter to help keep the cold wind off me, and I ride it in the rain.
