I’m peruvian and we use the same technique it’s called a “manta” in Spanish hope this helps

David Joura You are correct this is how SOME Guatemalan woman carry thier Babies. Guatemala is Extremely Diverse and not everybody does this. After all 17 million people is alot of flavors and spices lol.

David, you are talking outta your hat dude. THIS IS THE WAY how traditionally babies are carried in Guatemala. One of my in-laws does it, her mother did it, her grandmother did it as well. MAYANS ARE GUATEMALAN.
