Being a parent of students in the school district music program, I was lucky enough to see this live. I'm not sure many of the others in the audience in the high school auditorium really knew what they were seeing. Great stuff. We are lucky to have great teachers in the program, and are lucky to be able to have great musicians in residence pop by for a short stay.

He did not. The sax solo on the recording was played by the late Clarence Clemons.

Sorry I am just seeing your comment. No, I did not play on the original recording. I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to play with them for this concert.

admiralda, What do you expect from an audience at Carnegie Hall? Only people from her era can appreciate such a great singer. Sounds like that includes both of us!
