While talking about transubstantiation, I mention essences and accidents. The correct terms are *substances* and accidents. Also, Ryan found an article from 2016, and it seems that people in Haiti have resorted to eating mud pies in recent years due to extreme poverty. I was wrong about these things, my apologies. - William

Speaking on Baptism, when I was baptized I had a baptismal experience that I know God was there as I came out of the water. I felt a newness in my life that I knew baptism cleansed my soul.

@@Theology-ish K, good podcast. I am only into it for 10 minutes so far. I like how you guys are reversing the timeline back to the early church.

Episodes going forward will be focused on particular theological topics (like the function of baptism, the role of scripture, and holy Communion) and influential writings from the early days of church history (like Clement of Rome, the Didache, the Shepherd of Hermes, etc).
