@@tripwiththeskeldons You're welcome! I liked all of them for different reasons. Walking about describing the current venues and seeing a place that has so many happy memories for me without rushing, some of the shows and atmosphere. But then also across the road and onto the beach and showing a little of Minehead too through the series.

Thanks for sharing, as kids and teenagers in the 80's and 90's we used to go to Butlins Minehead, great times! So much has changed but it was interesting trying to picture the old with the new buildings as you walked around. I wonder if there's a KZbin video online that shows the changes over time.

Hi thanks for your comment! we’ve been going to Butlins since I can remember 😊 it’s changed so much! I remember the betting shop by the old playground etc! It certainly has changed

@@tripwiththeskeldons you're very welcome. It certainly has, I remember the monorail and cable cars (which were very welcome to get you from one side of the park to the other). Lots of arcade game machines (rather than prize winning machines) and several funfairs. It looks like there's been quite some investment, so if that continues then Butlins Minehead can only go from strength to strength!

Thanks for the upload. I saw the early show today, it was brilliant! The kids loved it. I was sat in the front row and was the Dames chosen one 😂 I haven't laughed that hard for a long long time! Having my name on his knickers had me rolling and the call me sign on the way out 😂😂 😊 Great memories for us all!

I used to live in Smethwick, by the old two brewers pub! They’ll have an amazing time there! Rooms are clean, pleasant and modern! My biggest advice is take a fire stick with you so least you can watch Netflix etc as no English channels apart from news

@@tripwiththeskeldons it’s been a few years since I was their, at the top of town we stayed in a hotel right opposite was a tapas bar which we went to. There was also a cafe up an across the T junction where we used to sit outside an amazing town we were in Calella the year before I love spain

Hi! To be fair we didn’t ever lock it up, we just pulled the zip down! Feels safe/secure enough to us! But I can understand if you wanted a padlock. Hope this helps?

Hi our kids are 8 and 6, so we called them direct and they do allow kids booking.com states they don’t but they do and if you call them they give u a big discounts they knocked off £120 for us compared to the booking.com price. Hope this helps
