not sure how other people felt but i think they did a wonderful job shifting between pov among the many characters this chapter all while progressing the story. i really appreciate this because we are able to both get insight into how many people felt during the events all the while not remaining stagnant on any character who would have progressed the plot but we would have gained nothing more by being in their pov. the shift from guard to nine was quite beautiful. from action to consequences. the tone of the story would have been much different if they had only covered say amiya's pov versus hoederer for parts of the story. ive had problems following along in bits of the older chapters at points but here i was never lost.

your videos are a breath of fresh air in the lore community and are so easy to understand. i appreciate the work you put into them. there is so much information some stuff just rolls past without registering.

It sounds to me like “ageless” is just a term for anyone who achieved immortality in that world, rather than being a faction or species like the Feranmut. Like, Kaschey is ageless because he keeps using his arts to move from host to host.

Is the damazti cluster not considered ageless? I thought they couldn't die either. How are the ageless distinct from other immortals like the feranmuts and the birds?

I doubt the immortality has anything to do with origium arts (quotes for that?), otherwise Norwell wanting to kill himself and seeing his immortality as a curse would make no sense, as originium arts need to be learned and crafted (even if someone might have an affinity for certain arts), and why would Norwell craft immortality arts if he doesn't want to be immortal. My guess would be that it is more like a mutation (maybe even through oripathy) or through contact with originium. About the gender redcon, it could just be that the original Chinese was a neutral term, but without the context they translated the phrase as 'he' as English doesn't really have a neutral form ('they' can be used, but it is rather new and is more out of respect in this case it would have been to obfuscate the gender that existed not because she is 'they' in the modern meaning of the word).

For me what they need to do is to end the arknights story with the third act and make everything about the arknights future tied to endfield. But to keep arknights alive all future event should take place in the past, terra have thousands of years of story that can be covered and i think it would be a great idea to discover more in its past.

I'd personally like a little more story since i didn't read this event, but after this video I'm going to go back and read it

fantastic "UI" check out the video of UI of lone trail that tells a story of the lone trail by it self.

Pretty cool, even though I cannot help but laugh every time you say 'wanking') I wanted to learn the rest of the story, because I couldn't complete some missions during the event. Shu is precious, and Zuo Le becomes an actually likeable character. The antagonists are badass too. But the thing I enjoyed the most is the music for this event.

Misha plot was sad, but Frost Nova was so devastating, especially due Children of Ursus, i not just cried my eyes out during ch8, i legit dropped game for almost year ( just logged here and there for daily quests). And that when AK became my best game i have ever played, if game can create permament mental damage, it is god tier :D

I'm a newer player that is interested in the game's lore but has SO much to catch up on, and it's definitely overwhelming. I'm working through your Arknights playlist and you do a great job summarizing older events so that I can quickly understand the main characters and plotlines. I intend to go back and read everything for myself when I get the chance but the bite-sized lore you offer helps keep me interested and prioritize the storylines that sound most interesting to me.
