The best explanation on the topic that I've come across. Very detailed but also understandable for someone not into fluid dynamics. Thank you!

1:35 to 1:40 alcohol evaporates easily due to lower Surface Tension .. and .vapour pressure is the effect of that evaporation..not the cause....

Interesting, so the scallop is essentially pumping water with a sort of flexible valve system

How did you get the fluids on eachother without mixing?
@MacyZC552 жыл бұрын
It is very likely that those fluids have different densities in order to avoid them getting mixed. 😄

great video ! But please can you explain why the flow is irrotationnal ? Thanks
@kelinko4244 жыл бұрын
For the basic KH instability, the flow is taken to be irrational as an initial condition

And you could do better by speaking another language? Grow the f*** up
@Nathouuuutheone3 жыл бұрын
I agree. At that point, the practice is great (and he's doing much better than plenty of other people) but it just hinders the sharing of information. Nobody clicked on the video hoping for an almost intelligible second-language presentation. He could've done it in his native tongue with subtitles. It would have been more efficient and accessible. His pronunciation is really rough and it makes it really hard to understand what he's saying.
