🚉Mae Klong Railway Market is a local market in Samut Songkhram Provine, considered one of Thailand's most amazing attractions. 😱Spreading over a 100-meter length, the market is located by the railway near Mae Klong Railway Station, Mueng District. It's a common fresh market selling seafood, vegetables, fruits, fresh and dried food, meats, and other miscellaneous goods. Mae Klong Railway Market is open from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The market is known as the 'life-risking market'. When the signal of the arriving train rings, vendors rush to close their parasols and canvas, clearing all goods that obstruct the coming train. The train passes just a few centimeters from tourists, making it an unforgettable experience. Once the train passes, parasols and canvas are reopened, and goods are again placed next to the railroad. This parasol-closing event happens eight times per day. Although the market is open from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., you'll want to visit when the trains pass. It's definitely a must-see attraction.
