Am I on glue did you say an M150 with a 6:1 DSG with a 36k motor with a plastic gearbox. I have been building airsoft guns now for quite some time and have repaired some gearboxes builds like these. The gearbox either cracks or shears off around the cylinder head area.

Also how come a plastic gearbox I am a little confused I think should be cnc'd aluminum or at least good quality cast aluminum.

Okay so just starting this video I see a shs 12:1 with a DSG top gear mounted I know they don't make a set. The video says 6:1 DSG I'm thinking your gearbox would just commit Sudoku.

Don’t grind anything on the release side of the piston this is a really bad idea, you will brake piston and or gear. instead remove teeth from from the pick up side of the sector gear.

Nice video and also very clearly and simply described fundamental problems that need to be thought about. Good work. :) But i have one question about that 1 piece cilinder. :) That mean you are corecting AoE just adding spacer between the piston and piston head? I dont think i should be able to instal a spacer correctly on cylinder head into this type of cilinder. :)) Also in case that you add spacer between piston head and piston i want to mention that i think that adding the spacer between the piston and piston head is bad idea if you using the stock GB. Adding spacer on cylinder head will decrease the stress of the GB. I am eaven using the cylinder head with front rubber spacer to decrease the stress. I am also adjusting the inner cylinder spacer. I drill its middle with same diameter drill bit as cylinders head rubber spacer hole is. Thats first thing to do cause you dont want the spacer inner hole to be smaller than that on the cylinder head is. Than I use a grinding head and grind the spacer from one side so that it is as thin as possible in the middle and gradually goes to the edge where it would be thickest and so that the piston stop area is provided only by the surrounding ring about half a cm wide, which also compensates for the loss of cylinder air content and much better concentrate air in the center of the cylinder head and its nozzle than if you use a flat piston head and a flat spacer. Totaly (as you say) recommend adjusting AoE with spacers from other cylinder heads cause they are harder and perfectly fills the cylinder diameter. nice video.

Which spring do you recommend for stock gears?
@michaelbirchall2247

Your own explanation shows why you should remove from the release side of the sector gear. Removing from the release side will let go of the piston earlier, therefore the piston will return earlier giving more time before the tappet cycle starts again.

Now I regret buying my Kriss Vector V2 😭...I should have gone with other blasters that are upgrade friendly. When I bought Kriss Vector V2 I thought its the coolest blaster with all the accessories but now realized it was a mistake buying it since it will have issues in the long run and will die anytime sooner or later 😭
