The amount of rotting off and presence of fusarium locally has been high this year locally. A lot of rain, no real cold and excessive dewy mornings.

@@connorwardlaw7210 only verticut when grass is growing and cutting on a very regular basis in general so generally spring and early summer Overseed during renovations and then can follow up from mid March from spring onwards . Autumn and Spring are the main seeding months

I used a bag of turf conditioner just before a day of heavy rain at the beginning of November.. I've never seen so many dead worms the day after the rain. Must have been 200+ over our square (5 wickets) Not had a worm cast since😳 But now getting mushrooms.. They brush off easily though when I'm brushing the morning dew off.

Hi no worries about the mushrooms, there from fairy rings and nothing you can do really but also there not a issue you can’t live with . If you need a blog on it let me know, as have a couple on it . Sad we have to control worms , but culturally there almost impossible to manage on a clay /loam soil.
