ANOTHER REASON TO NOT TRUST EVERYONE ON KZbin EVEN ME. Hydrogen oxide (separately, a great cleaning agent and antiseptic), if mixed with vinegar, creates peracetic acid, as vinegar contains acetic acid. This combination of vinegar and hydrogen peroxide is potentially toxic and corrosive, which can break down or damage the surface it is applied to.

With good airflow the issue of mold will not be there

Thank you! My old sprouting seeds have a not-great germination rate, so when I try to use the jar method, I end up throwing the whole crop away b/c the seeds that don't germinate go bad and affect the entire jar. I'm hoping using a mat will avoid that. We shall see. 😉

The Vinegar will kill your microgreens. It wiped out 4 of my 1020 flats of Sunflower and Broccoli.
