First military superpower were the Macedonians, who conquered the east of the world lead by Alexander the Great and the Spartans who for instance stopped Xerxes in the Thermopylae. I don't think that Assyrians had such strong military superpower as the Macedonians and the Spartans, but please share with us few valid references that could prove this. Thanks!

@@Carlo.Shamasha Hi Carlo, thank you for taking the time to share the weblink. I searched the reference from Wikipedia and few online sources state the same, but it cannot be true. Minoans and Myceneans had already a strong military earlier than Assyrians. I will revert with few good references soon.

Es hängt vom Standpunkt ab. Wir messen den Tag anhand der Bewegung der Sonne am Himmel, aber das hängt nicht nur mit der Rotation der Erde zusammen, sondern auch mit ihrer Bewegung im Orbit. Für den Fernbeobachter macht die Erde in 23 Stunden und 56 Minuten eine volle Umdrehung. Aber da die Erde einen Teil der Umlaufbahn am Tag durchläuft, muss die Sonne weitere 4 Minuten warten, um in ihre Ausgangsposition zurückzukehren. (übersetzt von einem Online-Übersetzer)
