Hi, they are made of Brass, I think the 2 by 2 cm I use the most. I would recommend 20 or 25 cm length for starters. Try to find leftovers in a metal shop Hope that helps

Hello Master :) this is an amazing work, really really impressive. I would appreciate your advice. I just started leather crafting as hobby, and just inventing for me stamping (and stamping with gold foil) leather products. I guess that round tool is heating other tools so they can react with foil, am I correct? Do you know any similar thing (heating mechanism) which is safe, can be fitted into very small room, for a new craftsman? THanks in advance

Hello and thank you for your kind words. About your question, you have several options. 1. And the oldest method is to directly heat the tool. You need to make sure not to overheat and before stamping you cool it down on a natural sponge. 2. Get yourself a hand heating tool that you can change the temperature and set a range. This tool allows to change the plate you want to stamp. 3. Work with a hot stamping machine and stamp a hole plate and not an individual tool I hope that helps And it is an idea for a video in the future.

This is such an elegant presentation! I make Chinese calligraphy, and often use a tube like the one you use here to keep the scrolls I made safe when I give them to whoever commissioned them. But I just leave them bare -- just as protection. But I shall no longer! My next project will be presented in a beautiful tube like this :) Thank you for the inspiration!
