Great story, *BUT* you have to make sure Itron's customers (Power Companies) follow the *DO NOT INSTALL DISTANCE OF 8"* All of them are failing to follow the FCC's rules. You really can't complain to Itron except for the missing *warning decal*. Would it slow down smart meter sales?? You bet. would it SAVE more lives?? You bet. A warning to customers about not exceeding the 48KW power rating would be another great *warning decal*. That might help stop some of the fires out their. How about a *warning decal* telling homeowners with implanted medical devices to stay away more than 2 feet from their new smart meter and their own home. That would save lives. A *warning decal* telling home owners to report moisture inside of their smart meter would be another great idea. Oh, I forgot one other *warning decal*, *Do not install a smart meter within 3 meters of a propane tank* If there is a power surge, smart meters will shower propane tanks with sparks. How many *WARNING DECALS* is that? *It's a good thing a meter reader is not needed any more, there are so many warning decals on the meter, the display screen would be obscured.* Is there a *warning decal* telling us smart meters contain *Mercury*??
