Air in the system won’t cause an injector to go bad. You likely already had a microscopic crack in the injector and it’s what caused the seal to go bad then the crack got worse. To test what injector is bad you just use a computer to shut off each cylinder and which ever one stops the whistling or whatever noise it’s making is the cylinder with the bad injector.

How many miles on your 20,000 trucks

Just bought a truck with a first generation 12.7 and it’s got 1.3 million kilometres with no rebuild & runs beautifully. They sound just mint straight piped too.

also recommend learning as much as you can about your truck for basic repairs and maintenance since that can be very expensive if you pay a mechanic ✌️

Hey there! I’ve built a handy tool for owner-operators and carriers to simplify expense tracking and fleet finance management. I’m sure you’d find it valuable! Let’s connect to talk about a potential collaboration. Keep up the great work!

Knowing how to fix as much as possible on your truck is absolutely vital to being a successful owner operator. For the most part, you can count on shops being incompetent, and / or simply dishonest.

None of the American tires I've bought held up well for the price compared to random import tires. Continental, BF Goodrich, Firestone...all had early failures like broken belts and prematurely dry cracked casings compared to the cheap import tires I bought. Daytons held up really well for me.

Good advises, I was doing it back in 1985-2005 in Norway and the same rules was in play then.

I had mine go out on my 2020 Cascadia with 503K miles a month ago through the mountains of NM. Did you get a new reservoir tank and a coolant flush? Sometimes the plastic inside the reservoir tank cracks and can cause problems.

I hope you learned the lesson. Don't buy a piece of shit. Not all trucks are created equal. No I don't mean a freightliner or peterbuilt. I mean how it was ordered. Powertrain is so important.

LOL, its "Series 60" not "60 Series" Saying it wrong is pretty common though. Had a fresh overhauled series 60. The mechanic forgot to install the rocker spacers. The hole for bolt #5 in torque sequence, was just a hair shorter than the bolt itself. He torqued it to 108ftlbs. Causing a hairline crack in the bolt. After driving it, and running it for hours, the bolt snapped. The lateral and longitudinal forces on the rocker shaft caused the shaft to break at #2 in torque sequence. The rocker shaft then lifted allowing the rockers on cylinder #3 to rise and hit the jake brake, This destroyed that rocker assembly notably the ceramic injector roller and gouge the camshaft. It drove about 1000 miles home plus 2 5 hour idling battery charges before I had time to even look and see what was wrong. Those 2 charging times, it idled fine and you wouldn't have known there was anything wrong!

The 2020 re-entry of gt500 has hurt the older mustangs for sure. This was a mentioned concern about 8 years ago. If the 2014 was the last of the gt500s, they would be $70k plus by now. 2020 and up will be the real collectibles. Unfortunate because I love the 2013/2014s. Also, hate the automatics….takes away from the driving experience IMO

This happened on my 2022 Coronado . I made a tiktok on how to open the door while inside , by using a back scratcher to pull the outside handle. It got a lot of views and the comments were ridiculous . " That's not a 2022 " . " Why does your dashboard look different from mine " . Cause it's a Coronado not a Cascadia. One guy even said it was an International.
