i went from beijing to delhi terminal 3 though a better but there wernt too many shops .... over crowded and small lane roads from delhi to central delhi come to beijing to feel what is called world class !!

in layman, they are interchangeably used...ideally new delhi is just one of the districts of the bigger Delhi city ...new delhi is more like downtown of delhi and has major governement buildings (british architecture) and the famous connaught place business center

no mayank i think they are really putting efforts into delhi projects...not just delhi, but now india's first 7 most populous cities are really developing infrastructure like brt's, metros, airports...i think bangalore and hyderabad's new airports are as good as anywhere in west...but i do think we need more expressways and faster trains...

those days r gone...b4 2010 commonwealth games they will change delhi into a diff world...

So they had to hurry to build a new much much much bigger Terminal 3 just in time for the Olympics.

Almost like the Beijing airport. In 1999 a new much bigger terminal opened, but it was too small and very disgusting.
