Lmao do you think there's any significant amount of people switching sides nowadays, ESPECIALLY off podcasts? That's what our whole current bipartisan system was made for, to make us demonize and hate the other side. If a conservative watches a podcast with a liberal host, they just talk trash in the comments then stop watching and go back to Joe rogan😂😂 I promise NOBODY is being politically swayed by podcasts lol

@@novarupture4582 Trust me they are alot of people who get there talking points and views off of podcasts it can easliy sway someones belief if whats said is to be believed most debates i have with people are reflective of what someone else said on a podcast or a political youtuber also i find it interesting you use the word "significant amount" what would you define as an significant amount of people switching sides or being swayed

@TKillemall the literal definition of it, an amount of people that is so small it has no effect, aka is insignificant in the grand scheme of political elections. And yea you're right people get talking points from podcast, FOR THEIR SIDE THEY WERE ALREADY ON. People have had their minds made for YEARS now, so yea a conservative will listen to conservative podcasts to get their info, but I promise you not one conservative has turned liberal off podcast conversations. Big events in society or personal lives will forsure flip people, but podcasts are not some breeding ground for people to actually put thought into politics and hear out the other side with an open mind, people just listen to what they wanna hear.

@@novarupture4582 If your argument is that podcast cannot change the tides of who people will vote for i wont argue that when most podcasts arent even big enough to really do so or have alot of people in there community's actually ready to vote/ most wont / most cant vote so my question now that i think about it why is this even stated i feel everyone knows this? (editors note) i still believe podcasts can make people change what they believe and sides there on 100% and by alot i dont believe its enough to change major voteing

@@TKillemall well that's the topic at hand rn man lol, the videos point was that Podcasters shouldn't be talking politics cause nobody really cares and they're not doing anything to make change by doing so. I believe the same thing and you challenged it with your comment. If you're not effecting voting than whatever political talk you're giving doesn't really mean anything at the end of the day, since red will still vote red and blue votes blue. Of course you'll get some absolute brainless followers who may follow what a random Podcaster says, nothing is 0% nowadays lol, but no amount of people that justifies talking politics in that context. It does nothing but chop down your demographic.
