One thing is for certain is the glue industry will never go out of business because so many guitar makers use so much glue to hold things together. It just seems so unnecessary.

Misleading title. Not a word about the cost of building one's own guitar. Disappointing. This offered nothing that hasn't been covered by many other videos about classical guitar construction. 👎

This shape of the bars is the idea of Jose Romanillos, it should maintain rigidity while removing the weight of the bar. But this is only one of the possible options

Realmente esse luthier é um verdadeiro artista na construção de seus instrumentos,foi a melhor construção que ja vi,apenas foque nos graves do violao quando gravar o vídeo final!,e gostaria se saber o valor de um violao concerto desse com jacaranda,e pinho sueco no tampo ,escala em ébano

Wonderful craftsmanship. What is the purpose of the material you glued to headstock and then the veneer? Love watching the build.

Thank you! These are several 0.5mm veneer sheets and then a 2mm rosewood piece. They cover the gluing area and also look nice from the side.

Thank you. In classical guitar everything is very conservative, usually the shape of the headstock and rosette speaks of the authorship, although this time I used the motif of Jose Romanillos. And my signature is on the label inside, as well as on the inside of the top

Any tips on getting those mitered corners? Looks like you've got a little jig to guide the plane, but I've never seen one like that before!

I used as a guide a simple piece of wood, sawn and planed at an 45° angle. The whole secret is to constantly check the angle using a protractor

When you see the flex in the soundboard and how thin it is you realize how fragile these guitars really are. It's just amazing that so many have survived from sooooo long ago.
