Also- the spacers you used to mount the hinges to the body - did you fab those or buy them? If you did buy them, can you send the link? Thanks!

I was told the QA1 k member is wobbly idk but my gut really tells me to stay with torsion bars and leaf springs. Just get it beefed up which is why I’m here. Thank you.

Brilliant. I'm half way through making some for my Land Cruiser. Don't be afraid of the weight. Wood weight compression is amazing. 1 metre long timber post can carry a maximum compression load of nearly 9 tons. 2 metres is about 5 tons. Your cribs can take a lot of weight. Well done and what a beautiful classic you have.

Im thinking to do the same on my 1966 plymouth belvedere. Hotchkins or QA1 TVS kit. Question, what do you estimate a fair price would be to have it installed. I dont think i have the guts to even try doing it myself.

Friction modifyers are already present in gear oil. Thats what gives gear oil its distinctive smell. back many years ago you needed to add friction modifier . not any more

I am a FORD MAN. but the motorcraft additive smells like rotten eggs. I keep it in a zip lock bag and smell still comes through the bag. and the bottle is not been opened I was going to get the GM. blue kind and try it next, GREAT video.
