One question...does it smell? Anyone on a long distance coach becomes acquainted with the whiff of diesel which always makes the experience so unpleasant. Wild horses wouldn't pull me back on a diesel coach, but I might be tempted with this. Maybe a follow-up on how real passengers think. Plus is there a toilet?

4% of revenue on R&D doesn’t sound like very much. It makes me wonder what could be achieved if companies really reinvested their profits. But I guess that’s why we should nationalise important industries. The money stays within them rather than going to shareholders,

The BYD buses I drive in London are from 2018. They drive beautifully, especially acceleration and braking. The newer double decker had slow acceleration for some reason.

If the rest of the world mandates EVs then perhaps, nobody makes money making EVs, so it's all about who can throw the most public money at them, and that's going to be the CCP- already half a trillion $ by some estimates. But where mandates are struck down, China can't compete very well building normal cars, IC technology is a lot more sophisticated than wiring up some batteries to a motor.
