Aí sim. Isso é agradável aos olhos, cavaleiros e cavalos dinâmicos. Os cavalos de hj estão de ponta cabeça .

If enough of us show up and ride our horses like this today, maybe we can make a change in the pleasure world. I hate today's "pleasure" horses and all the awful tack/clothing but the only way we can make a change is by being the change. We all just have to work together.

This is how a western pleasure horse should move. I can not believe what has happened since. Please let the AQHA know , maybe we can make a difference.

They are beautiful. I watched some classes online from the Congress this past fall and they were lovely too. I have a nice QH and love riding that smooth slow canter. He does it all by himself and I do not have to correct or jerk; he just moves that way. I think those who criticize wish they could find and get one like that.

I know everyone knows him now because of Katie, but watching him be ridden makes me like him a lot. He makes it look easy unlike a lot of these western pleasure horses that look half lame.

nice horses but the backup nowadays looks awful. 30 years ago, our horses still were supposed to drop their neck and head and to back up elegantly and fluently without any resistance or hurry.

Is this video still available for purchase? I can't get the website to complete the order. An old buddy of mine passed away in January. I was given his buckle from this event. I would like to see if this is the video he is in and buy it.

My mini mare and gelding are learning this. So far the best time on my mare is 29 seconds, and the gelding is 31 seconds. She's a bit bigger than he is. We haven't competed yet----covid put a hold on that. Hopefully we will compete in 2022. (Jan Griffiths).

Yeah, a real treat. in 2019 he was still ranked the top sire in NRHA followed by 2 sons for 2nd and 3rd spot followed by his half brother's son for the 4th spot. That is pretty dominant. Though his mama, Katie Gun, is tying all this together so she deserves a lot of the glory too. I guess he is a 3-year-old in this video - what a chillax guy.

Who came up with pleasure? It’s painful and boring to watch, these poor horses look tired and unhappy, these gaits are so unnatural and quarters aren’t meant to move like this.
@laylajade53554 жыл бұрын
I think this mare moved pretty naturally compared to some other pleasure horses I have seen. They don’t move as naturally as they could but they don’t look lame and the trainers are not being cruel. I’m glad they pick the most natural mover for this class.
