Fantastic gardens with beautiful flowers! And some interesting history. Thank you for sharing. One shot reminded me of the Queen Elizabeth gardens in Vancouver from many years ago with a built up display of flowering plants and grass below…. Much enjoyed!!

WOW, cool... I mean HOT! 40C ?? I was expecting you to jump into the water to cool off at any minute! You were sure paddling fast going back. At first, I thought the wake was coming from you, before you mentioned the speed boats, I thought maybe Jim was water-skiing behind your kayak. LOL That was great and great music also, thanks.

Very interesting to have such a variety of plants. The interior of that little church was awesome with the fancy woodwork and impressive ceiling and the stained glass! Thanks for sharing, always enjoy 😀😀

It was an intereting place and visit. the house is open on special occasions but was not when we were there. The church was very nice and well kept up.

Thank you for sharing. The hotel grounds look to be quite substantial but yes, could do with a bit of taming in the back. Nice sunny day to enjoy a walk around the pond.

Oh goodie, a new video!! I guess you got your computer up and working? I've never flown business class, it looks nice. We usually fly "cattle car class". mooooo The hotel looks nice, at least part of the back garden. What were the rooms like?

No computer yet, doing it on the laptop. I hope future videos are a bit better as I get used to the software and the different computer. 10 hours on a plane is hard to manage in stowage. The rooms were fine but nothing to video home about!

Finally got a chance to watch this, thanks! Did you take us to this place when we were in AZ once, it looks vaguely familiar? I seem to remember a hummingbird building something like the butterfly one.

The one we went to was Desert Museum outside of Tucson. The Desert Botanic is in Phoenix. Both are good and worth visiting. Thanks for watching the video!

Very interesting!! It’s such a totally different garden, with so many different types of cacti. Is the bark on the Desert Rose plant really such a bright white or does it just look so stark with all the reflected light? The butterfly section was a pleasant surprise. Just for Jim I will try and plant more perennials that attract butterflies here 😊. Thank you for sharing, I really enjoyed my visit to the gardens!

I don't remember it being too bright white, it was light though. I just thought it was such and interesting plant the way it grows. It was an abnormally hot day, hot for October. Niether of us wanted to dally taking video. I was going to use my go pro but at the last minute it was not working. There was an exhibit by the artist that did the sculpture - Fernando Botero. It was his paintings and was in a building somewhere. I wish I had known that as it would have been very nice to get inside in the A/C.

What a disappointment to be bumped from your excursion!!😠😠. I certainly hope anyone thinking of trusting the cruise will think again!! What good is it to book and get a confirmation if it doesn’t mean anything? And if there were extenuating circumstances they should have notified YOU and made adjustments….. Just common courtesy and good business!!! I did enjoy this video and it seems you made the best out of their mess-up. Thanks for sharing.

Ha ha glad you asked. I do not concentrate on the videoing. If I did there would be better footage! I try to place the sightseeing first and not be obstructive to other travelers. The go pro is great because I can just wear it and film as I go.

Interesting and informative, thank you. You unexpectedly got your exercise going uphill and down dale. Reminds me of the first time we visited Disneyland and got on a bus only to go basically around 3 sides of the block to get to the entrance!😆

Thank you. I think Ketchikan is similar to Prince Rupert but I have never been to Prince Rupert. It was a very nice day which made it really good for the outdoor activities.

Thanks for watching. I thought you would like seeing some of Vancouver. Because I was on the bike tour I could not stop to film too much (it was 4 hours long we had to keep moving) but I got some shots with the gopro and the phone, to be able to put it together.

Excellent video! The title might have some thinking this is Surrey, England with all the beautiful gardens at Bear Creek park! Wow, they sure have improved that soccer field 😆!! Very enjoyable video and you are so good at not going too fast or too slow on the filming. Thank you for sharing 😀😀

Thank you I do try to get some decent video without becoming one of those 'camera in my face' the whole time. Yes Bear Creek Park is nice, Jim asked if they charged for it! I was lucky to be there early (7:00a.m.) lovely light and not many people.

Well, that was definitely something different. Actually looks in pretty good shape for an abandoned location. Is someone maintaining the paths at least? Don't want to go too fast, lots of curves and people!

Purtroppo sono pochi i turisti che visitano Roma ben preparati. I Musei Vaticani sono connessi con importanti autori della letteratura tedesca ( Winkelman, Lessing, Goethe ecc.) e della letteratura italiana (Vincenzo Monti). Inoltre non bisogna dimenticare le pagine di Stendhal, di Flaubert e quelle di Freud dedicate al Mosè di Michelangelo. Importante è anche il sonetto che il grande Vittorio Alfieri dedicò sempre al Mosè di Michelangelo. Insomma è quasi impossibile ricordare le pagine memorabili che autori di tutta Europa hanno dedicato ai monumenti e alle opere d'arte di Roma!
