Kenny comes across as a really genuine honest guy who wants you to do the best on his bait, I’ve decided to change my really well known top bait manufacturer for years over to this company, only negative is the 200 mile trip to pick up the bait which will really push the price up per kilo.

What’s with the floats?
@streetcat151022 күн бұрын
Keeps the fish from getting his head down into all the abundant snags the place is renowned for.
@bobbybarnes728721 күн бұрын
There are so many large snags and bars under the water between the baited area and the peg it keeps the line on the top of the water. It also helps having the line out of the water when the fish are wary

@roger474724 күн бұрын
the big roblem is you lose fish en the carp has no change with size 2 hook and 50 pond fluorleader
@bobbybarnes728723 күн бұрын
If the hook doesn’t come out after loosing a fish the hooks don’t last long in rainbow due to it being very acidic. If lighter lines and smaller hooks were used then we would have no chance in landing them because of the amount of snags in the water therefore leaving fish trailing tackle. Using heavier tackle leads to more fish on the bank to be treated.

Thank you, Kev, for Part 2 of what has been a great "miniseries" about the wonderful World of Antony's carp breeding and rearing life. Terrific amount of information in the 2 films; these should be compulsory viewing for all anglers, but PARTICULARLY for members of the carp specialist fraternity. A lot to be learnt. It always surprises me how little some members of that group know of the detail of the breeding and rearing of the carp that they are so intent on catching many years later. These videos have dispelled many of the myths relating, particularly, to growth rates and overall high weights. Turns out that pure-bred Antony Hurst Leneys perform just as well, in the right conditions and with the very detailed early-months' and -years' care and attention, learnt from a lifetime of experience, as any other breeder's particular "strain" of carp. Despite claims made by others...! Good to see Arron Standing in the view-finder! He runs a terrific business selling wonderful fish on a pretty good scale, nowadays! The acreage of rearing ponds he commands....! Hats-off to all for contributing hugely to maintaining the notable heritage a very healthy population of English fish. We all owe you our great thanks! Mike Andrews
