Thanks for this video! I just fixed my HUD with your awesome parts kit. I took your advice and showed 5 teeth, however the display would not go high enough for me on the windshield (I'm 6'2") so I had to remove the HUD again and show 6 teeth instead. Now it's perfect...THANKS AGAIN!

I replaced my ignition switch and fixed the HUD. Took me about 8 hrs. Thanks for the video :)

All that under the hood mess looks like so many of the vettes from the new balance crew. Somewhere on this beast the new balance crew has hidden the “panty droppin” sticker. Look under the seats bet you can find a few loose blue pills. 😂

Thanks for posting this video. I ordered the kit and it fixed my HUD. In my case, the pivot was broken and the bushing was missing. I put it back together and the HUD did not come on. I disassembled it again and made certain there were 5 teeth showing and reassembled it. It popped up on the windshield and what a beautiful sight it is. :)

So I have a 92 corvette that I would like to maybe do a LS1/LS6 swap (I'd really like a 405hp LS6) and I found your channel, I've been looking around here where I live but for some reason places around here want a lot of money for these vette engines. I guess what I'm getting at is on a average if you could say what would you guys charge to ship me a engine? I do live far I'm in Oregon but if I can find a good deal then it definitely could be worth it. Shoot me a message when you can and maybe sometime we could maybe talk.

Just curious… not sure if you know.. but the whistling sound in the engine bay. My C5 does the exact some thing. Any idea where that sound comes from? Can’t figure it out at all.

@@VetteprosUSA Ahhh man.. not what I was looking to hear this morning lol. Previous owner said they replaced it within the last 5K miles. Could it have gotten that bad that soon?

Mine was ac belt and tensioner after I did the harmonic balancer the whine noise is normal btw the squeaking(chirping is usually a bad harmonic balancer you can watch the ribs on pulley and see if they wobble.

@@Wolfmann99 Changed both belts and the whining is less audible now. Can barely hear it at start up. I had a loud squeak/squeal at start up. That’s gone now too. Balances looks to be new without any movement in it. Fingers crossed no more issue for a while.

@@thubb6 Awesome if noise persists change tensioners and the pulleys I did all of that and it finally stopped mine. but I believe it was the ac belt/ac tensioner causing the issue.

I used to make my own bushings before these came out 1 side i had to epoxy in a cut off rivet and the other side I had to make a bushing - this saves me 2 hours work with this new kit.
