I like that place so much. Very very nice river right there. Where is that? About the vanilla i think thats either v. Pompona or v.rabii. not sure. I wanted to know if theres vanilin in it. Why not try to ferment.

They look bigger than the vanilla beans I see at the store. I just call them native vanilla.

@@filipinasunflower7206 I'm interested to know if there's vanilin in that because I have bought some vanilla cuttings from Visayas and turned out to be other specie than vanilla plafolia. Their leaves resemble like what you have there. That's why I'm curious if they have vanilin because I planted almost hundred vines here. Though I have several hundreds of vanilla planifolia.

are these really the vanilla vine that gives vanillin? in one article is says only 3 out of 100 varieties are propagated. we saw also wild vanilla in our place and wonder if this are the same vanilla that gives that supposed vanillin, I purchased planifolia, and I guess they are the same, but has bigger vine and pods..same with what you got smaller quantity of pods..where are you in Ph, can I call you?

Someone told me that this particular variety is not the kind they use for baking but they use it for making soap or other beauty products. I ordered some from shopee and it has narrower leaves than the wild one. I’m hoping it’s the right one.

It's nice to see a tree spade in the Philippines. My uncle, John May BIG JOHN, invented the tree spade in 1975. We called him the Howard Hughes of Arkansas. An eccentric man who had many projects going. RIP John May.
