I got pretty far on my first run yesterday. It was fun. I was mostly running aquatic with a good weapon and an item buffing its damage every time it attacked.

I've managed to get as far as level 3-9 in this game, but I just don't seem to be able to beat that level even when I use all of the special abilities that I have acquired.

I usually just erase one of the three blocks and then use all of the three special abilities at the same time and just go for it, but I never quite manage it. Thanks for the tip and thanks for the game, I am finding it strangely addictive and it's a nice change from playing expensive over-hyped AAA titles.

it's only like a dollar, so I would say yes. I get the impression that more weird shit is around the corner and $1 seems like a more than reasonable price if you can get over the short comings
