This is a drone though... I thought u were de droning. ? I threw a vca behind mine and used a standard envelope to get some groove out of it.

You always end up covering my favorite Cortini tracks. I feel like that means there are just certain ones that have a particular magic to them that he happened upon. All his work is interesting but there are some like this that just really stand out. I hope he sees this at some point. I think he’d be impressed.
@malwida1022Ай бұрын
@@michaelkonomos Well, I tend to like the minimalist ones, with 2 voices max, where the repetition of simple short melodies makes you zone out. Naturally they are also the easiest to reproduce. I also have some more complex favorites like Verde, but these are way more challenging for me... maybe one day 😉

If you could, would you get a second strega? or add an 0 coast?
@malwida1022Ай бұрын
Personally, I don't have a desire for a second strega, but I have an 0 coast and can very much recommend it. It will also enable you to use midi on the strega.
@NealCaenАй бұрын
@@malwida1022 I do have an 0 coast! I just find myself not gluing with it. I find myself just loving the strega so much more, I might be approaching the 0 coast incorrectly? What do you mean by enabling to use midi on strega exactly ?
@malwida1022Ай бұрын
You can send midi to the 0 coast and set the 0 coast midi B so that the 0 coast will convert midi to cv. Then you can use the Midi B cv and gate out for the strega, e.g. use midi channel 1 to control the 0 coast and channel 2 to control the strega. You just need to tune the Strega accordingly. The 0 coast is fine with the pitch knob on 0 , but for the strega I marked the area with a white sticker. You can also approach the 0 coast like a utility module for strega, now you have another VCA, 2 more envelopes, stepped random voltage, clock divider etc... I have a video coming up where I just use the 0 coast to control the delay time on strega to cover Cortini's La Storia.
@NealCaenАй бұрын
@@malwida1022 absolutely a great idea! 💡 as you can tell i’m fairly new to modular and strega is where I feel comfortable, but I have to explore more and learn routing techniques like the ones you’ve just stated! Sooner or later I’d like to move to Serge 4U panels purely for the difference in sound but I need to learn more before I invest more into a modular system like a serge 4U. Thanks for the tips I feel much better about staying with the 0 coast now! Looking forward to your video.
