I won't call him a false teacher, since he seems to have good fundamentals. However, he has a lot of problematic takes. There's then this gaslighting that we don't know scriptures and he is the one that knows. Things I can remember are God didn't tell Noah to build an ark, Eve was not a help meet for Adam, we are not to take communion.

There is something that knowing the truth does to you it makes you almost intolerant of false or partial knowledge. It burns out from you like intolerance with false teachings. It happened to me in 2016.

What you call gaslighting now is your perception of his stance. Like you believe that it is what he is doing however it could be how you are digesting what he is teaching. Do you know that he is a Pastor. Pastors try to woo people and not to offend or chase people away.

@@ezinnediarah I think this is happening to a lot of Nigerians, especially those who grew up in Nigeria but have moved out, and are then confronted with other flavors (denominations) of Christianity, who are actually serious about Bible study. I think many protestant Nigerians like to think of themselves as being very deep in the faith. But I think there are many unbiblical things we preach. So yea, I greatly relate to the perspective of some deconstruction of the common doctrines taught. However, I think we are to defend the scriptures with gentleness and respect 1Pet 3:15. On the contrary, we have our Daddy using harsh, strong and condescending language. You'd agree with me that he has an abrasive personality. I'm not convinced his style is good, coupled with flaws in his own theology.

If you're vast in the scriptures you won't say Abel Damina is a false teacher. Yes his interpretation might be wrong in some cases and his constant blackish on pastors but trust me Abel Damina is a sound teacher. I'm not his member either!
