Why don’t you people give up with the “BLOOPERS”, and enjoy the great and funny acting of all in Hogan’s Heroes!! If you think you could have done better , WELL GET OFF YOUR ASS AND DO A BETTER SHOW!!!

This was put out in the mid 60s, 20 short years from the Holocaust, could you imagine having relatives and then they throw this on the TV. I enjoyed hogans heroes but I could also see the other side where people would be upset.

Sometimes bloopers and on-camera fails should be left in the final cut as they add a level of realism - goofy things that happen to all of us every day.

Three lines heard in virtually every McHale episode: "Condition Red! Binghamton's coming! which was followed by..."Head for the hills Fuji!" and of course "You bunch of eight balls!!!" Hilarious show! Ernie Borgnine was an incredibly talented and versatile actor.

My grandfather was in the Belgium army and he said he remembered when the US army came to liberate his town, (I can't remember the name) they became friends by exchanging chocolate bars and cigarettes. Money meant nothing to them. After the war, he came home and he bought a TV. He loved watching Hogan's Heroes when it was first aired on the CBS network :) After re-runs on TV, I started to watch the show. Love it! We both laughed and had a fun time watching these episodes. I was too young to understand what was going on - but now I do :)

History, military, funny, nothing overly sexual, clean. It's what's on at night in my house, and if the kids find their way into my room there's nothing I have to worry about. On so much my sons (9, 6, 3) had my wife make up a Hogan's Heroes themed birthday party for my 40th (they were Carter, Newkirk, and Lebeau). Great stuff! And the drums in the intro put them to sleep as kids; out like a light!

They don't make shows like that anymore. My entire family tree grew up watching that show and we all passed it down to the next generations. Every time I watch something about Bob's murder it makes you want to cry. It was from a time when actors really felt like a family member. I miss seeing every one of them knowing they are no longer here. They brought me and others so much joy that words cannot express how thankful I am they were here.

My father was a dead ringer for Captain Binghamton. He had the same glasses look just like him. I can remember people saying to him boy you look just like the guy on Mikhail’s Navy. Even I told him that he look like Binghamton and it pissed him off he didn’t like it, but he couldn’t change how he looked. Eventually, years later, he looked back and laughed and realize they were good times and a good show.

Oddly enough, I was born June 29, 1978… the day Bob Crane was taken from us. I’ve been watching Hogan’s Heroes for as long as I can remember. They seemed like a really a great cast of actors. Now only Kenneth Washington (Baker) remains.
