I hope you are excited for your upcoming trip 💃🏾 locals appreciate tipping you can tip in local currency anything between 10-100 cedis (depending on the service). The best place to change money I would say is inside the Accra mall there is a Forex bureau and they have good rates. For footwear bring trainers and sandals again depends on your activities 😊 Lastly if you have a free weekend join us on a Location Ghana tour you will love it 🥰♥️🙏🏾

The term highlife of Ghana's 🇬🇭 music was coined in the 1960's when we incorporated foreign instruments into our music with drinks 🍸 and cigarettes 🚬 and dances of euphoria and such ones were said to be living a life that is high, hence the term "highlife music" 🎶

Just discovered your channel. I lived and worked in Sao Tome for three years as a supervisor/manager at the VOA Station. (At night you will see the many red lights from the tall antenna towers). I lived within that compound. I did not want to leave. I love São Tomé & Principe and I have many friends there. I hope to return soon. I appreciate your video! Brought back many memories. 🙏

Maybe art/touristic stuff is seen as a luxury in African countries (people who live there 24/7), they prioritize making money more for living necessities since the system is not as favorable as for example in Europe if you don’t have money…and to be honest our parents/ancestors never really saw having a passion for something as a thing you can freely pursue…since once again they’ll give you a pep talk on if it will bring food to the table…it’s a never ending circle that leads back to lack of opportunities/jobs/stability/financial support from the government etc in our countries, which is sad, because there are soo many talented people with amazing ideas, but no opportunities 😪

Lately I've personally met some married men who for one flimsy excuse or the other refuse to wear their wedding rings. ....making the dating market more difficult than it already is. So I guess dating struggles as a woman in her 30s in Ghana specifically Accra would be an interesting topic 😄

I think there’s a small group of ppl that understand the art culture. Ppl are definitely buying art but I just don’t think it’s done for the masses. Cuz u go to art center and ppl buy a lot from there but it’s not the everyday Ghanaian that care about it
