The problem with most of these types of bags are the slim, non-gusseted pockets that are so slim they are almost worthless. Plenty of compartmentalization but not really more room. If you fill the main compartment substantially, you can’t really put a 3 dimensional item in all those sleeve pockets. I wish they would make a bag like this without the overriding flap and then install a couple of 3 dimensional gussets pockets on the front of the bag, preferably with zippers and not Velcro closures.

Lasts 50 washes? I’d kinda like them to last longer than 50 shifts. Could you clarify what that means ?

Industry standard is 25 washes. We push it to 50. We use better dye colorant and saturate the fabric twice to get these dark colors. If you wash your clothing inside out, use mild soap, wash in cold water, line dry, no fabric softener, no bleach, you will prevent signs of wear. Anything with cotton will fade. We do a better job at it.

Update: received it today. Right out of the box the stitching looks really sturdy, the material is a bit stiff but not a deal breaker and the carrier itself is heavy. That being said would absolutely recommend especially at the sale price I picked it up for! Edit: after putting the plates and attachments on, it is really tearing up my neck and leaving it raw. If you have a combat shirt it should alleviate that issue but if not just be aware that it is very harsh on your neck
