I played this for my final exam to show my section that it's not just being able to play your piece but communicate with your audience and pour your emotions to the piece you are playing. I made them all cry as I told them in the end it was my way of saying goodbye.😂 (I was a senior in high school and their section leader)

Thank you for posting this so much. I love the harp and flute version. The piano accompaniment is lovely as well, but the harp combo version adds a bit of mythical feel to the music. :-) Thank you. One of my holiday music.

It seems most of the comments here are with other flutist, I'm here cuz of my Italian roots. Funny thing is I love classic rock, thrash metal, nineties music and some rap. But I love this too. It speaks to my soul. Thanks for the upload.

I used to play this a lot when I was little. I'm getting back into playing it again as I'll be performing it at my grandmother's memorial service later this month. It's a simple piece, but very touching and resonates with my childhood.
