multiplayer is a good to have, but not compulsory for this game imo. Nowadays too many games are multiplayer dependent and died when their audience died. So, focus on single player experience first, and only invest in multiplayer when have extra resources to do so.

I feel like a multiplayer mode where you can Challenge players both in freeroam and in parking lots + interact with other players in parking lots would be great. Plus it would be even better if they implement some sort of faction system where a group of players can make a racing faction much like the NPCs and race eachother. Maybe some sort of system where the factions race for dominance in certain areas of the map that are centered around parking areas or entering points and they vie for control of the map. Mayhaps the members of the group have a leader crew system like the offline version where the leader gets challenged by players who defeat the whole crew, of maybe the leaders can challenge other leaders too. Maybe there can be an option for strong players to not be in teams so that way factionless people who are strong like wanderers can exist. Meanwhile the weaker players band together to defeat enemy players together like how some battles have you battle multiple racers at once or consecutively. So many possibilities, its uneneding tbh.

Short answer: imo yes but it should be set up like mario kart MP, where a run has a countdown to start or you can 1v1 from a set position. I don't think having a bunch of people free driving on this map would work very well tbh

just download cheat engine, i was able to get infinite money to buy all the cars and max them all out, i already beat the game so it did not ruin the experience for me. i was also able to scan my total cp value in cheat engine and change the value to 77,777,777 to race and beat the last wanderer

It sounds nice but I think multiplayer will only be viable once Genki has expanded the scope after this game or at a later update, what I appreciate about this comeback is that they tried to be realistic to their goals and maximize the core experience for a series that hasn't been around for a while.

I would be totally fine with a multiplayer if it does not entirely tie and bricks the game if the server goes offline, that the single player section isn't cut off and inaccessible by making the game online.

starting with the consecutive win bonus at 0 definitely takes longer than 15 minutes, and by the point of having it to 100% even hard tires are worn down where it gets very difficult to race the northern part of the map effectively

I wouldn't be surprised if the new TXR gets an online mode, to be honest. Though, that depends on the feedback from players, since the game is still in early access. I imagine the new driver level system is linked to an online mode that Genki might be planning. The old TXR Online game you mentioned has a battle experience system, so maybe? The new game getting an online mode probably depends most on what the players want, since Genki is currently collecting feedback during the early access phase. So I think it's a matter of: "We *want* multiplayer." rather than: "We *need* multiplayer."

You can upgrade wine of victory to level 2 for 8% rival prize bonus. I like farming Jet Skater wanderer when he appears on weekends. Easy to beat, gives 77k for first win and 155k with max win streak bonus. Today I made 15m in one night just continously racing against him.

Extra tip: When the race is about to end try doing some drift with handbreak so you can get around 10k~25k + just for drifting due to the very high speed.
