Does that litterbox under the bed help with them tracking litter out of the box. How much do they get on the floor with the top entry box?

Are those self tapping screws you used to attach the strips to the van ribs?
@JonniesJourney

No I drilled them but you can use self tapping. I recommend stainless steel ones 👍

If our cargo was bigger, we would have done two beds that would join together as one. But we just don’t have the floor space for it. The bunk thing is fine for now, but at some point, I’m gonna be too old for climbing up there. I do love that we made storage under Jessie’s and that we can use it as day sitting area. When working with limited space, gotta have storage where possible and make things double as other uses. I think I’m going to really like your remodel. Can’t wait to see it all finished.

Of course you have a lot of storage, your van is HUGE, and you've learned how to use that space. I'll never forget seeing it next to my car, and it looked pretty exactly 2x as tall, plus of course wider and longer. Though most people can't believe a Prius Prime is 183 inches long, and easily carries 10 foot long electrical conduit with the hatch closed.
@JonniesJourney
@JonniesJourney 2 күн бұрын
183 😳 that is long. Didn't realize that. Yep, it's a beast park side by side the Prius

I would love to see my van with the insulation and ready to build. Someday I may breakdown and move into my car and a tent to get er done, lol. If I can healthy enough physically. I know I sound silly. I want to do it as much as I can myself. You have come so far on your builds and everything since I first met you. Still out of all of your builds I love your first on your own van is the best.build I guess I will have to decide when this is completely done.

I found out through trial and error it is counter productive to install inside..puts out way too much heat..so i have been searching for a way to mount mine without penetrating the roof. I love your idea..mine came in a full meatal box with 6 foot flexible lines so I am thinking back door exterior shelf, where I can easily set it in place when camping. Then remove it and store it when traveling, as I can rely on the factory air for that..i will find/fab inserts to fill the hose holes when not in use. thoughts?

Beautiful Angel! Excellent info on heat/cold. Heat makes heart race. Sometimes I sleep with ice pack near face lol. Mary loved my furnace ability. Can only take so much off lol. Occasional foot cold, remedied by standing up. Willing to sleep on floor too. Loving 22 degrees, best weather for helping dump neighbors garage (they had to sell too). Hoping the more I hear re wire gauges, it'll sink in but typically need to do it to learn it. Using Bluetti AC300 w/B300k in room with laptop, phones, and small guitar amp to get used to it and make sure it's working well. Lasts 4 days and only takes 2 hrs to charge. Read operating temp goes to -4, not that we'll see that much unless it gets windy. If you read email yet, there was a corral incident, yesterday, due to unexpected soy ingestion.🤣 Best to your lip, have sunburn & sniper dot eczema from soy. "We're a sight" as my grandma would say. The scope of info on your channel is boggling in a good way. Thanks!❤
